Check out our recipe on how to Peach Cobbler Frozen Yogurt using the Ninja Creami!
Peaches and vanilla go together so incredibly well. There’s not a whole lot of things that taste better than a warm peach cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream! Obviously, this treat is not warm, but it’s almost as delicious! The combination of the peaches with the vanilla and the crunchy oats come together to create a rich and delicious flavor with a great texture!

When I initially decided to come up with this recipe, it was because I had some peaches that I needed to use up…but by the time I got around to making it, the peaches were gone. I’ve used fresh peaches before in Ninja Creami recipes and they work great. So, if you have fresh peaches, you can use them instead of the canned ones that the recipe calls for.
There are probably a million ways to make a “cobbler” like mix-in. But, I like to make things as simple as possible, so I used “honey bunches of oats, just the bunches.” You can use hearty granola or make your own “cobbler” mix-in if you prefer…but if you’re looking for simple, just the bunches are the way to go. The bunches have sugar added, so if you sub it out for something else, it might not be as sweet once processed. If you have leftovers, you can just add the bunches to your favorite cereal!
I have been using Noosa yogurts to make all of my frozen yogurts as it was recommended multiple times in my Ninja Creami Community Facebook group. The texture and flavor is really great once frozen. You don’t have to use this particular brand. If you have a brand that you prefer, feel free to use it instead.
You’ll notice that I added a tablespoon of milk as an optional ingredient for this recipe. Why? Because sometimes when treats are processed using the Ninja Creami they come out dry and crumbly. The one and only, works every time, way that I have found to solve that problem is to process and then add a tablespoon of milk or cream and re-spin. It works every single time for me. No matter how cold my freezer is, regardless of whether I let the treat sit out for a few minutes… the tablespoon of milk gets it to a very creamy consistency! Since you are only using a little bit of it, you can use skim milk, whole milk, coffee creamer, half and half…just some sort of dairy does the trick.
Tips for making Ninja Creami Peach Cobbler Frozen Yogurt
Can you use fresh peaches in the Ninja Creami?
Yes! You sure can. You can use fresh or canned peaches for this recipe. You don’t even need to peel the peaches if you don’t want to. If you are only using the fruit to make a treat, you will need to either blend the fresh peaches up or add a liquid of some sort to the base so that the pint is completely filled with no spaces in it.
Why is there a greasy feel to my ice cream?
Sometimes using heavy cream or full-fat cream can turn into a buttery texture. This can create a greasy feel on your spoon. To correct this issue, add less heavy cream or use half and half or milk instead.
What are “Honey Bunches of Oats, Just the Bunches?”
You’ve probably heard of Honey Bunches of Oats, the cereal. Well, the best part of that cereal is the clusters of sweet oats. If you take away the cereal flakes and leave behind just the bunches…you end up with the perfect little clusters of sweet oaty goodness…which works perfectly for making Ninja Creami Peach Cobbler Frozen Yogurt!
Why is my ice cream dry and crumbly?
Usually, if your ice cream comes out dry or crumbly it’s due to one of the following reasons:
*Your freezer is too cold. Try to adjust your freezer to be a little warmer or let your ice cream sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes before processing it.
*Your recipe does not have enough fat in it. Try adding in a little bit of a higher fat dairy product to your recipe next time.
*Your recipe may not have enough sugar in it. The less sugar in the recipe, the icier and crumblier the ice cream will be. Regular sugar, honey, or corn syrup can be used to increase the sugar content if desired.
To help resolve this issue, after processing, add 1 tablespoon of dairy and then reprocess.
How long can I freeze my ice cream?
It depends. If you are keeping the ice cream in the Ninja pint container with the lid sealed tightly and are freezing it in a cold freezer (between 9 degrees F and -7 degrees F), your ice cream will keep for several weeks, even months. However, if you transfer your ice cream to another container or freeze it in a freezer that is not quite as cold (or that is accessed a lot/door opened and closed often), the lifetime of your ice cream will decrease greatly to just a few days and you will likely end up with freezer-burned ice cream.
What kind of yogurt can I use in the Ninja Creami?
Pretty much any kind of yogurt can be used in the Ninja Creami. I usually buy Noosa brand with the fruit on the bottom. But, you can use any flavor, pre-mixed or with the fruit on the bottom, and regular or greek yogurt.
What’s the difference between frozen yogurt and ice cream?
Frozen yogurt does not have as much fat in it as ice cream. Frozen yogurt does not have heavy cream, which ice cream usually does. Yogurt in general is made using live cultures, making it easier to digest. You can even make your own yogurt and turn it into frozen yogurt!

Ingredient substitutions and tips for making Ninja Creami Peach Cobbler Frozen Yogurt:
The full ingredient list is found at the bottom of the post in the recipe card. Yogurt-
Peaches-Canned peaches in heavy syrup were used for this recipe. I like the added sweetness that the heavy syrup adds. But, if you prefer you can use fresh peaches or canned in lite syrup. The syrup adds flavor to the peaches and is not actually used in the recipe. Be sure to drain the peaches before adding them to the recipe.
Vanilla Bean Paste-I always recommend using vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract because the flavor is so intense and I love all of the little speckles that it adds to the recipe. If you would like you can use extract instead but the flavor will be a little less intense.
Sugar-Just a little sugar is needed for this recipe. You can use white or brown sugar. The brown sugar will add a deeper caramelly flavor.
Honey Bunches of Oats-Just the Bunches-Substitute with your favorite hearty granola.
Milk- Whole milk was used but any milk or non-dairy substitute can be used. Cinnamon(Ground)
