The Netflix reboot of The Mole had everyone asking the same question: Who is the Mole?!

Like previous versions of The Mole, the Netflix reality series saw a group of total strangers working together to complete missions in order to build up a cash prize. The catch? Only one of them was able to win the pot.

As if that wasn't enough jeopardy, everyone in the group knows that one of them is really "The Mole", an unidentified double agent who has to work against the rest of the group and sabotage them without blowing their cover,AND the contestants had to try and figure out The Mole's identity if they wanted to walk away with the money.

The final two episodes of The Mole arrived on October 21, meaning we got to find out whether Jacob or Joi was going home, and then we finally found who had been working against the team this whole time!

Who is The Mole?

The final five were whittled down to just 3 last contestants: Will, Joi and Kesi. After one last challenge, the trio managed to add an extra $5000 to the pot, meaning that one lucky person was about to leave with a total cash prize of $101,500.

The whole group were brought back for the final reveal after the three of them locked in their answers. As it turned out, The Mole was our prime suspect, Kesi Neblett!

Kesi became our chief suspect for The Mole once the second batch of episodes arrived. Before then, she'd already been an unhelpful member of the team and cost them some money. As the series wore on, though, it became even clearer that she was trying to sabotage the team.

She was actively working against Joi the whole time they were paired up in the search for Avori, and she cost the group $20,000 by immediately choosing the exemption when the team was chained up together in episode 6. More recent examples came when she slipped off the wall in the final task, and the money she'd thrown off the sled during the trek across the Snowy Mountains in episode 9.

Is Joi the mole?

At the end of the first five episodes, Joi was our prime suspect. She'd cost the group way more money at the outset and there were some very suspicious map-reading mistakes— can a commercial pilot really not read a map?

However, she eventually managed to win back the money, and she showed some real determination to prove herself in the later challenges, clearly in an effort to win back trust.

Is Avori the Mole?

Pro gamer Avori had an unorthodox strategy for the show. She was deliberately throwing suspicion on herself from the get-go in order to get the others to vote for her so that they got eliminated during the quizzes.

This double bluff didn't quite help her make it all the way to the end, though it was very difficult to work out whether she was making mistakes or deliberately sabotaging the group all along... we're still not sure how she could have missed the phone number on the pizza box in episode 8!

Is Jacob the Mole?

We always felt like Jacob was in the clear even though he made a huge money-counting mistake in the bank heist mission, and was part of a couple of failing teams.

The biggest drama around Jacob came when Joi threw some serious shade at him in the most recent elimination. She publicly called him out in front of the rest of the group and the pair exchanged some harsh words.

However, Joi quickly backtracked on this accusation after working alongside Kesi in the most recent task. Plus, Greg revealed that Jacob was high on his personal list of suspects, and then he got eliminated from the show in episode 7, making it pretty clear that he wasn't the mole.

Is Will the Mole?

We never really suspected Will was the Mole at any point, precisely because he always seemed to be a team player and he kept trying to add a lot of money to the prize pool.

There was still some suspicion though; he was critical of his other teammates in comparison to his own skills, and regularly tried to manipulate who was being sent one what parts of the mission.

Clearly, we were right not to suspect Will, as he correctly identified that Kesi was The Mole and ended up winning the money.
